Goodbye Party Pictures
Aug. 28th, 2004 09:27 pmLast night was our last night in Halifax as Haligonians, so we invited
everyone out to our hotel room to hang out and party before the bar. Our
apartment, you may recall, has been completely empty since Thursday morning, and
we were flying out so early this morning we had to do our out inspection of the
apartment yesterday. Anyway. We had many visitors, as you will see below.
.jpg)
Mike and Kevin were first to arrive, bringing alcohol and cheer! Mike looks
doubtful regarding Kevin's latest fabricationstory.
.jpg)
Later, more had arrived. Here, Tim, Mike, Brandt and Nat all gather in a rough
lineup for some reason. Not sure why. None of them seem very impressed.
.jpg)
Tim has now mixed up a few drinks (for himself) in the bathroombar,
and is more smiley. Conditioner, shampoo, vodka... don't mix them up!
.jpg)
Uh-oh, the hugs are starting. Goodbye parties are always very hugalicious.
.jpg)
Mike and Nat, with Kevin and Brandt's legs making cameo appearances.
.jpg)
Vinny tied up Brandt using all our remaining packing tape. It doesn't show, but
this is an action shot; Brandt is falling onto the bed having hopped over and
leapt through the air. Very exciting, just take my word for it.
.jpg)
Poor Vinny, not smiling right now. He was earlier and later, but goodbye parties
can be somber affairs sometimes too. This may have been after a bad dive by
Alexandre Despatie.

Nat, our politician-to-be, arrives and makes himself at home.

Tim and me, both pretty bug-eyed and out of focus.

Nat's inner thigh.

Tim and Mike, another out of focus shot -- that camera is troubled, I think!

Nat, Vinny and Janet all chatting about who knows what.

Me in a blatantly posed shot. Such a poseur.

Vinny caught in a pensive moment.

Tim in his normal 100% alcohol 0% thought mode.

Vinny's spiffy new outfit, modeled for all to see.

Kristopher and Kevin expounding simultaneously.
And that's all the pictures that turned out. We don't have Darren (tired and
cranky from too much work, poor dear) and we're missing all of Tim's friends who
appeared shortly before we left for the bar. A fun time was had by all, I hope.
We had a good, if somewhat sad, time.
Monday is Darren and Tim's birthday, so everybody wish them happy birthday!!
It's only 8:30 here, but now it's time for bed. Nighty-night, internet
journal readers.
