1. I love reading funny and touching things I'd never hear otherwise. I also love connecting with people halfway around the globe (or a quarter, or 1/17th) and making new friends in cities we visit.

2. The mind-numbing tedium of it, when my addiction strikes and I visit my friends page a dozen times, but nothing has changed. Also, the drama and implied relationships, the "please add me as a friend otherwise you suck!" attitudes. Many people see an obligation to do things when there's no such requirement.

3. Vincent and I met during the summer before our final year of university. He was working in Saint John, New Brunswick and I was working at Corel, in Ottawa. We had several friends in common already, and he had heard about this Cam character, and decided to email me. His email was all flirty, and I flirted back, and we emailed back and forth a hundred times. Then Vinny called me, and we chatted. I was so nervous during that first phone call. But we ended up talking daily, or more often, and then Vinny booked a plane ticket to come to Ottawa to meet me. At that point we had known each other only 12 days. He came to town and we knew that was it, we've been inseparable ever since.

4. One younger brother, Tim. He's a bartender in Ottawa. Four years younger.

5. Not the US. Possibly the States for a short period if work required it - and to be honest, NYC or Hawai'i would be acceptable for even longer periods, as the energy of those places pushes out EvilAmericanEnergy™. But for life, it would have to be England I think. Just on purely practical terms. Let's say I had no huge cash flow though. Then I'd choose South Africa or somewhere cheap like that.
