I've been to YHZ, and several other airports. It is so not deserved.

I recall a lot of confusion at YHZ. Like the time they switched gates but didn't tell anyone and wondered why the flight about to take off was empty. Or the time I tried to check into an AC flight and waited - with thirty or so other people - for twenty minutes for someone to actually show up at the checkin desk. And this wasn't early in the morning, it was at noon!

I will give slight props to YHZ over YOW. I got stuck in a revolving door at YOW once and had to be rescued by a flight attendant.

New YOW or old YOW? Cause new YOW rocks my socks.

Old YOW. I think I like new YOW. I've only seen it once - on the way home from your wedding. I remember a waterfall and a canoe. And crying because I was getting all sentimental and homesick for Ontario. And that people get really weirded out when you cry in public.

New YOW does rock indeed, much better than that cramped hole of the old terminal. Which airport does deserve it in your opinion? Unfortunately my travels in Canada only include YOW, YHM, YYZ, YQT and YWG. Of the five, YOW definitely gets my vote, although the new terminal at YYZ is awfully spacious and nice as well.

Toronto has all sorts of nice things, but all in all it's just too much of a shambles to win. I think I'd give it to Ottawa. I can't fairly compare airports I haven't used repeatedly, so that means Ottawa, Fredericton, Halifax, Toronto. Not much of a comparison.

The Halifax Airport has lobster. That had to swing the decision.

You're just jealous because ... wait, no I guess I agree with you. I mean, I like the airport and everything but it doesn't strike me as anything special.
