Remember when that sort of insult was cool? :)

I am now a Microsoft Certified Professional in both Windows 2000 Professional (back in 2002) and Windows Server 2003 (ten minutes ago). Yay!

Microsoft's holding a promotion where any failed exam before May 31st can be rewritten for free! So I registered for this exam knowing I wasn't ready, since it was essentially a practice test. I passed with the bare minimum score -- but we won't tell my students that, mmmkay?

Now it's time to start studying for Implementing, Managing, and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Network Infrastructure. Doesn't it sound fun? Once I pass that, I can become an MCT, teach Microsoft certified courses, and make bigger bucks!

by which I mean bucks that are bigger than what I make now, which are most definitely not big in any way

Exactly. Polar Bear's business is very very very very Microsoft-driven. As if there were 100 turnips, and Microsoft brought us 80 of them. So to speak. So my Linux, UNIX, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, and Dreamweaver training will have to share my time a bit now...
