One would think so, but that's not the number. The number, as published everywhere, is (0871) 330 1515. But several combinations of 011 44 and those numbers, such as 020, 02, and so forth, didn't work. The guidebook said 020 for London, except that dialing that number didn't work. The number I listed got us a nonstop ring, which made sense because we were calling the reservations line for a restaurant at 11:05 pm GMT.

I think 0871 is a national rate number... so you'd just have to call 011 44 871 330 1515

I don't understand why. DOes this national rate number eliminate the need for a city code? Once Vin's off the phone, I'll try that combination.

Think of it like our equivalent of a toll-free number... except it's not toll-free.

A bit of googling on that number (I'm bored and waiting for very-late chinese delivery... i have to do something to keep my mind occupied so I don't strangle the guy when he gets here) found this website: http://www.fifteenrestaurant.com/fifteen/reservations.html

It says the international number is 011 44 870 787 1515
