They couldn't have let something like this go without some sort of reprimanding off the air. I will bet that staff members told him to lay off or that someone told him that he had to stop and that they edited it out.
Of course, you and I both know that is just terribly wrong... and he'll get his. It's always how it goes.
Maybe, but I dunno. It is, after all, airquote-reality-TV. Maybe they left it alone, thinking as many do that "oh he's just stressed, they'll be OK." The natural tendency is to stay out of personal lives, as wrong as it might be in a situation of abuse.
When I read Jonathan, I though you were talking about the uber hot "Jon"... I was shocked... then I calmed down and realized that you meant the asshole Jonathan. That dude is a prick and a half! grr >:-
I was really surprised CBS left that shove in the final edit. Not exactly family values.
Between that and that brunette woman's racist comments in Africa (and in Germany, actually), I'm rapidly losing patience with virtually every couple on that show.
I wonder how high the ratings for TAR outside the US? I'm sure there are lots of Americans who can't stand to see their country represented so poorly, and lots of non-Americans who watch just to have their opinions of Americans confirmed. No group has done such a good job of that before!
did anyone else...
