It's been like a week. Where the hell have I been? My mother and you have been worried sick!

Well, I've been traveling, as you may have read. Ottawa:

- Had dinner with Meagan, [livejournal.com profile] deah, and [livejournal.com profile] skaughty.
- Had dinner with [livejournal.com profile] jpman (my best man from my wedding) at my brother Tim's bar in the Market
- Had yummy pizza made for me by [livejournal.com profile] deah, ate also with Doris, Sandra and Meag.
- Hung out at Jeff's new house out in Riverside South (a galaxy far, far away). Very nice place, TONS of space to fill with les enfants les enfants les enfants.
- Had dinner with Daniel, watched Survivor with him and [livejournal.com profile] jpman
- Flew home on itty-bitty QuikAir.
- When I got to the airport, I had sort of forgotten how small the Jetstream-31 aircraft was. I saw a Dash-8, and thought well it's not much smaller than that. But then my plane taxied out from behind the engine of the Dash-8, just three apples tall. Crazy.

Toronto:

- Vinny's birthday was Sunday. We went to Toronto to celebrate, since we know people there, but not here.
- Got a rental car (after a brief struggle, see [livejournal.com profile] leapfish's journal for more details on that front)
- Dinner at John's Italian Caffé
- Drinks at The Hair Of The Dog
- Drinks at Woody's
- Stood in line at Fly
- Drinks, dancing, and very rude service at The Barn (plus it sucked)
- Naked men at Remington's (but they sucked in the negative way, never going back to a Toronto strip club)
- Bed
- Drove back to Kitchener, returned the car. Cleaned up a bit, then caught my shuttle to Toronto's Pearson International Airport to fly to...

Halifax:

- HORRIBLE landing. Stormy, windy weather. Plane was jumping and dropping randomly even quite close to the ground, and since I was in the aisle I couldn't see what was going on, and didn't enjoy it much. Worst landing I've had in 2-3 years.
- Dinner at Fireside, then saw Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow. Highly enjoyable. Very stylized, very detailed. If you don't like suspension of disbelief, you won't enjoy it.
- Today: Amazing Race finale with some of the gays.
- Tomorrow: no plans
- Thursday: Five Minutes of Fame at Club Vortex
- Friday: fly back to Toronto, shuttle to Kitchener, and relax.

Crazy!
