Specifically, watching Jean Pelletier get grilled by a member of the Bloc at Finance Committee.

And, they're both being translated by the same guy, who is trying to inject the appropriate amount of aggression, sarcasm, etc. It's like listening to someone yell at himself, and I'm not sure who's winning.

I get to go have lunch with the Microsoft MVP's and talk about the "new Designer experience in Visual Studio".

You should become an MVP in ASP.NET Cam!! Then you could've come and visited!

I'd love to, how do I go about it? Probably have to:

a) learn ASP.NET
b) become an MCSD
c) pay money to MS to maintain said MCSD
d) be extra special to get a plan ticket

...right? Something like that? Maybe someday. :-)

well, the first one, for sure. but after that, I'm not so sure. I'll ask today when I'm takling with everyone. It would be terribly fun to have a someone I know at the conference though!

Oh definitely. And I'd love for MS to start spending money on *me* instead of just my company. We got our monthly shipment of a dozen DVDs of software this morning. Wheeee!
