Sep. 18th, 2003 12:54 pmMy class is behind. I have ten chapters to do in five days. We're 3.5 days through, which would logically mean seven chapters. We're halfway through the seventh. Really not an issue, I have time left to deal with it, so normally no worries.
BUT: my students want to take an extra long lunch tomorrow to attend a special lunch, meaning that I would need about a quarter-chapter of extra time, at most, available. Also not a huge deal, on its own.
BUT: After 4.5 days with the same students (or from their perspective, with the same instructor), you really want to get the hell out. So the common practice around here is for the final few hours of the course to be essentially cancelled. Meaning I'd have to be done by 11:30 tomorrow morning.
So essentially I have 1.75 days worth of material to cover in about .75 days. :-)
I'm not complaining, I just felt like hearing the sound of my own typing.
