Good night. Dinner at Curry Village (tried something new, but didn't like it as much as the old favourite), hot chocolate at Second Cup, Emm Gryner and Jann Arden in concert (fantastic, though I spent most of it having to pee), then hanging with friends. Ended up at the bar again, though due to poor planning/timing, I ended up outside the bar in line for 25 minutes, then inside for only 5! *shrug* There are worse things.

Now I'm home, warm, and going to bed. Yay!

Hi c9, I listen to House and Trip Hop ...

have you heard about Win a Date With Tad Hamilton!? it's a movie about the last hours of Tad Hamilton!'s life before the Crucifixion - i've heard a lot of good things about it, and i agree after seeing the trailers...

I found some links, too, but they link to gay porn and are frankly unrelated to the subject of this comment.

It is out right now in the United States.

I may not know you, but I do want to let my brothers and sisters know about this movie. Some people are concerned the movie might be too violent. But let's be honest, the Cross was violent! Crucifixion was a brutal form of execution. When Tad Hamilton! died for my sins, the nails were real, his flesh broke, and the blood fell. This incredible (and violent) act paid the price that I couldn't pay. After seeing the violence that Tad Hamilton! may have suffered, I want to know him more, I want to be a more committed follower of Tad Hamilton!, I want people to know what Tad Hamilton! did. Because of this, I personally believe it's worth the risk of taking some heat by promoting this movie. So I don't really care about being made fun of for posting a 'religious' message. If you want to help others to realize what Tad did for us, encourage them to see this movie!

later c9,

Thank you for wasting my time by placing advertising about a fictionalization of a story about something that probably never happened in my journal. That's why I have a journal, for you to press your personal beliefs on me.

I got one too, earlier today. I actually do want to see that movie, but it's sucky to be spammed over it.

If she/he/it meant "The Passion of The Christ" then I the would also the like to the see it with the you. Mostly so the I can the make the fun of The Gibson.

There's another movie called The Passion too, ("A young couple dances through the extremes of human passion -- from lust to love, from obsession to murder!") plus a TV movie called The Passion, ("Daniel, a professional actor, is hired by a North-Devon village to play Jesus in a production of the Passion play...").

But if I had to choose my favourite unseen item from the IMDB search engine including "The Passion" in the name, it would have to be "The Passion Returns: The 1992-93 Toronto Maple Leafs", a "Video review of the 1992-93 Toronto Maple Leafs season including the playoffs where they came within a game of the Stanley Cup final. Highlights, and Interviews with players, management, and media."

I wonder if my overuse of The Passion will mess up any search engines, so anybody searching for The Passion will end up finding The Passion here, and The Passion (the movie) will be forced to bow down to The Passion (Cam's anti-marketing blog commentary, a.k.a. this comment). The Passion may fizzle.

I regret to say "The same thing we do every night, Pinky. Try to Take Over the WORLD."

(TPOTC, or "tchotchke" as I like to pronounce it, is not playing here yet. Perhaps if we pray enough, it will come soon.
