Back to 80% or so...
Feb. 14th, 2004 03:36 pmWell, after a half-filled day of not-much activity, some yummy brunchy goodness, a milk-and-chai-mix-drink-thing (ask
leapfish), and the anticipation of a "dinner for two A" that can easily feed three A, I am finally sorta recovered from last night.
My goal was to have fun and try to keep Vinny's rollercoaster off the major downs, and I think I did, but I ended up going far too far down, myself. So to speak. I only had four drinks, but you guys know how I handle my alcohol. I was pleasantly buzzed most of the night, but at about 4 am my body decided it had had enough, and I spent the next 2 hours feeling woozy, drugged, unable to breathe, nauseous, headachey, and slightly distressed. No more than 5 minutes were spent on the bathroom floor. :)
For some reason, my body just decided to do all its complaining at once. Once it passed, I was back to bed and feeling more reasonable. We went to Jane's for brunch (yum), went for groceries (the flower shop was busy today, how odd), booked things for next weekend's trip, and (Cam) worked on Wayves (Vinny) worked on taxes.
Goodness. I'm drained. I really could use some naan bread and onion bhaji, followed by a Calgarian adult-contemporary concert. I wonder if that can all be arranged on such short notice.
