  2. Either click a neighbourhood or use the checkboxes to pick beighbourhoods (we will both be working at the intersection of C1/C2/C8/C9)

  3. Find us something awesome matching these needs:
    • Two bedrooms, or 1+den
    • Not drug-eriffic or hooker-tastic
    • Under $300,000
    • Along the subway (check out awesomeness here)

We understand the point of them, and don't freak out about them when they're reasonable. Unlike some people who shall remain nameless. Because they don't have LJs.

Well, they seem to be in the range of the high $200s to mid $500s.

The one I quoted above seems to be at the low end.

This one seems even homier, altho the rooms strike me as small, altho overall it meets your requirements.

MLS® C1033712

The price is $269,900, and the condo fee is only $108.

I can't decide if you're trendy. :-P

We're paying over $400 right now, with everything included except hydro, so it's not a worry. We've seen $650+ already, and we're not interested in that game.

We are incredibly trendy!! :-P

We looked at one of these a couple months ago -- the basement is a little scary. I think I'd prefer the upstairs units, personally.

Ok... this loft is supposed to be trendy... altho it is a bit industrial for me... but...

MLS®: C1057486 $260,000

Condo fee is $498.

That's kinda pretty. I don't like the higher condo fee, but the lower price makes it not as bad. Hmmm.

I vote you move into C10 or lower C4.

But that's only because I'm lazy and don't want to have to go far to see you.

If we live <1km from work, no. If we live <2km from work, only in winter.

Those both look really nice! I'm trying to figure out where the second one is by looking at the view, but I don't know the buildings yet. :)

Please come visit us and help us househunt, you're good at this!

I've been checking out the listings but there's one thing I am curious about. What are "elf's?" Alot of the places list that as asssets.

The second one is the Hudson, I believe -- a recently completed building. King & Spadina area. Great Gulf was the developer, and they do good projects.

How about --

C1046391 - $285,000 - You would be about a block from work, but the building is on a fairly quite cul-de-sac. Building is 6 years old or so.

C1042619 - $289,900 - This is a fairly attractive building from the outside. You'd be right on Bloor, very close to work. There are a few listings for units in this building, but having walked by the rear of the building a few times, I know that some have pretty obstructed views. This one seems to have a decent view, though.

I saw a lot of units listed in great buildings, but they are all one-bedrooms. Drat.

Waitaminute. There is also:

C1039687 - $289,900 - Radio City is a great development, attached to the National Ballet School. Built by Context -- Context developments win awards, as did this one. Walking distance to gay village, work. One bedroom + den.
