Well, it's all done. Wooo!

- Great crowds, both in size (all 4 shows) and energy (3 shows). Tidy profit for KWLT which will help them continue rebuilding their theatre.

- In the words of Carolyn Burnham, I "didn't screw up once!" Tried my damnedest a couple times though.

- It will be really nice when the theatre is rebuilt, because getting to and from the St. Jacob's Church Theatre is a nuisance. Even though the theatre is cheap to rent.

- Auditions for What the Butler Saw are Monday through Wednesday, but I think I'll be skipping that one. Too much theatre make Homer something something.

- Hey, Latin students: how do I say post-partum depression, but for theatre? Post-curtain?

Yay! I am glad you had such a successful run! :-) And even better that you were able to raise decent funds for the new theatre. :-)

Yay you! :-)

Try post-choragium depression, since choragium is latin for "the training and production of a chorus" and, as we all know, Greek theatre productions always had a chorus. How does that sound? ;-)

Glad to hear it worked out well, and love the "American Beauty" quote. (I remember the scene well, when Lester and Carolyn leave the gymnasium and she looks right at Jane and tells her, "You didn't screw up once!" That always makes me cackle in fits of laughter).

Congrats on a successful show Cam! It seems that velum is latin for curtain so maybe: post-velum depression?

Or what about post-fabula depression, for "fable, story, tale, play". And it also sounds fabulous!

In university I directed a stage version of Lilies, Canada's "Best Picture" for 1996. It rocked, if I might immodestly say so. I had friends drive to Fredericton from Ottawa to see it, which was very cool. So if I direct a big show here next year, you'll be expected to at least try to attend. :)

Glad to hear it went well. Sorry to hear you won't be doing Butler, it would have been fun to watch you and [livejournal.com profile] the_nita both talk about it.

Sadly, the ratio of funds raised to total funds needed is something like 1:15. But it's better than a money-losing show by far. :)

Ah yes! Small world. Part of me wants to. Probably it'll be Popcorn Plays this summer instead. I have volunteered my graphic design services for her though, if her current helper(s) don't work out.
