New Words for the Day
Oct. 1st, 2005 08:49 amI'd like everyone to try to incorporate these new words into their daily conversations. There's no English equivalent for each, so we're just going to use the originals:
koshatnik (Russian): seller of dead catsYour attention in this matter is appreciated.
neko-neko (Indonesian): the person whose ideas only make things worse
drachenfutter (German): the guilt-ridden husband who buys a present for his wife, sort of like a kiss-and-make-up gift, but not really because there wasn't a fight between them just his misbehaviour which she found out about.
Edit: Also, steeped.
