National Lampoon's Vacation

leapfish loves the movie National Lampoon's Vacation. I do not. I have watched it with him twice. Well, once. The second time I paid only half attention.

Tonight Daniel is visiting and he got to select the movie. To my horror, he selected Vacation. So I'm trying really hard to occupy myself with other things while not being a rude co-host.

One way to amuse myself: a list of reasons that National Lampoon's Vacation is funny:
1. Black people are all criminals, and therefore funny.
2. Poor people are all inbred, stupid, and therefore funny.
3. Old people are all ornery, and therefore funny. (ref. Golden Girls)
4. Anything Chevy Chase does, ever, is funny.

*sigh* As Vinny said, "Comedy was so much simpler in the 80s."
