Good night. Dinner at Curry Village (tried something new, but didn't like it as much as the old favourite), hot chocolate at Second Cup, Emm Gryner and Jann Arden in concert (fantastic, though I spent most of it having to pee), then hanging with friends. Ended up at the bar again, though due to poor planning/timing, I ended up outside the bar in line for 25 minutes, then inside for only 5! *shrug* There are worse things.

Now I'm home, warm, and going to bed. Yay!

Marriage is love.

Of course, marriage is many things to many people. Not all people want legal entanglements for an essentially personal, emotional relationship. Not all people want governments to be in the business of deciding who is allowed to love who, and in what ways. Not all people want to be stuck with some belching lard-ass drunk child-beater for fifty years. But everyone should get that opportunity.

But seriously, this meme seems to be targeted at the fantastic events in San Francisco (the new mayor said 'the hell with the law' and just told City Hall to start issuing licenses and performing same-sex marriages). Hundreds of couples have been married this weekend, and the religious right is panicked. They should be, because they will lose. It might take a while, and it will be painful in the Land Of The Not-Really-Free-We-Just-Pretend, but they will lose. And the panic will make them stupid.

So I'm pasting the HTML above to join in the fun.
