Sometimes I just wish I could veto things. Don't like that government policy? Veto. Not ready to see that ex? Veto. Want to change a friend's habits? Veto.

So we're back. Fun vacation, but I'm really glad to be home. Montreal was rainy and cold, New York was windy and cold. Went out dancing one night, had only a little fun -- bars are no fun without friends. Saw a taping of the Daily Show with Jon Stewart -- very fun, but more lining up than as probably necessary. Bought some sexy underwear, bought a DVD, ate far too many Jelly Bellys.
