I've modified the rules on this one, as I have very few songs running through my head these days. Unless I have a new album or something (like in 1997 or something) I just get songs that are triggered by hearing them, or lyrics, or conversation that leads to them. For example, song one is actually running through my head today, but the others I haven't sung to myself in months.

The six songs occupying valuable real estate in my head are:
- Take On Me, A-Ha. Thanks cap_hill_latte!
- The Things We've Handed Down, Marc Cohn
- Possession, Sarah McLachlan
- Lovers in a Dangerous Time, Barenaked Ladies (not the original by Bruce Cockburn)
- 83, John Mayer
- Bad, U2

Actually, I think I could be abandoned on a desert island with Marc Cohn, Sarah McLachlan, John Mayer and U2 albums, and be happy til I died. They just do neat stuff to me.

As for the tagging bit, I already did that today so I'm changing that rule too. Instead I choose to declare that my favourite colour is blue.

Really I should have made it six artists, as anything Marc Cohn has done qualifies. He has new albumS coming out this year apparently!

All of his songs sound the same to me. Same song, same theme. Of course, this doesn't prevent "No Such Thing" from running rampant through my head every time I hear any one of his songs.
