Two dreams last night.

First, I was at Google, or one portion of their future empire. This one was on the ocean, and it featured a way to counteract huge tsunamis. It also, oddly, featured a way to *generate* huge tsunamis just so that it could demonstrate counteracting them. A friendly employee demoed it for me: the wave would approach and basically hover when it got over land, then recede, as if a negative wave was cancelling out its wave pattern.

My parents and Vinny showed up, so I explained to them what a tsunami was (along with pretty much everyone else I met) and then I triggered a wave so we could see it be stopped. Unfortunately, we stood in the not-safe area, and got all wet and sprayed. Unlike actual tsunamis, Googlenamis were very Hollywood, spraying water as if from a firehose.

There were subplots involving kitchen furniture, and my brother Tim getting hit by a car and burned due to it, but I don't remember any details of those other than they happened at the Google Centre For Tsunami Generation And Destruction (I just made that name up now).

Second dream, [livejournal.com profile] leapfish, [livejournal.com profile] fiver00 and I were in a Wachowski Brothers movie (they did The Matrix, etc). The brothers were being pricks, and one was very rude about something I was doing during a meeting. I don't remember really what it was, only that I was asking different people for colour ideas. At the end of the dream, they asked for our eye crossings or somesuch phrase, I think it really was the distant between our eyes, that sort of thing. But I didn't know, and neither did Vinny or Jared. I got pissy due to their being pricks, and considered quitting despite it being my ticket to fame, etc.

Then I couldn't really sleep for a little while. And then Vinny woke me up and told me that Lucky was throwing up again. *sigh*

Google is taking over the world - one little bit at a time, aren't they?

That last part (Lucky) must have been the nightmare portion of things...

p/s - I'm really impressed with the detail. Do you usually remember that much?

Ah, Google ... is there nothing they can't do?

Only when I write it down in narrative form, all in order, right after I wake up. If I wait, or if I try to think too hard about something at the end of the dream, the rest of it disappears.

I usually don't think to write it down until it's too late though.

You should keep one of those blank books/bound journals by your bed - at least, that's what someone else once told me. That way, if something's vivid when you wake up, you can scribble it all down.

If you go back and read all this later, I'm sure it will carry some very obvious logic.

Can you still call the Wachowskis "Brothers" anymore? It might be safer to just go with gender-neutral "Siblings".

Actually, I kept a text file on the computer for several years, detailing the particularly vivid dreams I had. I've posted a few way back in LJ, somewhere. I should find them and Memory them.

Now LJ seems to fulfill that very role, since I'm usually on the computer quickly enough to type them out. I would never have the patience to actually write anything though.

Oh that's right, I forgot all about that! It was not included in my dream at all.

Was dream-Jared sexy? Was he wearing leather and shades like Neo? :)

'Cause he should be. If not, you're not dreaming the right dreams.

I think that all goes without saying. :)

Interesting factoid. Google is preparing a large footprint in Oregon around Hood River I think and Oregon State U in Corvallis has a Tsunami generating machine (I think it may be the only one in the country but I'm not sure) used to study their effects and ways of dealing with them.

Oh yeah. That's the stuff. :) I bet dream-Cam was all made up like Trinity wasn't he?
