Aeroplan is a psychology experiment by the Star Alliance.

More than once I've chosen Air Canada over a cheaper airline because of the Aeroplan points. But if I would have just put the money I would have saved in the bank, I probably would have been a lot further toward the next trip than I would with the points.

But nothing beats Aeroplan Elite status. I'm all about skipping those lines.

Oh well. I own my addiction now. Almost enough for a trip to New Zealand. I might even go executive and put nihilicious in steerage.
