Finger Trouble

c9Well, thumb trouble actually. This morning, after 15 hours of being bandaged, the cut was still open and a-gushin', so I decided it was time to get some professionals involved. A quick call to work to spoil their morning (as I was supposed to teach), and then I'm off to ER. Conveniently, just a 15-minute walk away.
Very quiet in the ER this morning, so they saw me, shot me full of tetanus, cleaned me up, and bandaged me much better quite quickly. I'm now home, typing one-handed still, waiting for my dear husband to come home and make me lunch, as I'm not allowed to touch the sharp things any more. :-)
