Toronto Hydro sent us a letter this week with information on their upcoming Time-of-Use electricity rates. (Currently, Toronto charges a flat rate regardless of time, but it is outfitting the city with smart meters so they can move to a better system)

It's awesome! The reporting is quite extensive and visual and intuitive. It has floating tooltips, hourly updates (note today is already shown), and it's very responsive too. Well done Toronto Hydro!

That is cool. We have had our smart meter forever but they haven't started charging different rates yet they are piloting the system. It would have been nice if they let us at least see our data in the mean time.

Man, it is a good thing our power isn't graphed right now. Both kids have a 24 hour stomach bug so yesterday we were doing laundry on average about every 2 hours!!! That would be a crazy spike compared to however many loads you did that day.
