Conservatives Starting to Show True Colours?

Maybe Harper's moderately-right image can't actually hold in all his further-right colleagues?

What a shame.

Did you ever hear of CoR in New Brunswick back in the 90's? I hope the same fate is waiting for the new Conservative party.

Good old CoR. An relative of mine was leader for a while.
And who could forget Arch Patford.

It was the Confederation of Regions party in New Brunswick. Almost an equivalent to the Canadian Alliance. Their entire platform was that they were anti official bilingualism. They formed the opposition with 7/55 seats one election, and were gone like the dinosaurs by the next.

It's a good thing there are no similar opinions in the ranks of the Liberal caucus! Otherwise, Paul Martin would be a hypocrite!

Look at you, pretending to be on the National Post editorial board!! :)

Completely true. I ask: where is the line between "moderate party with crazies on the fringes" and "officially moderate party with primarily crazy members"... what percentage of membership is allowed to be a nutjob?

I think critical nutjob mass stand at somewhere between 10-12%. :P

For the record, the endeepee have their own nutjobs in the race.

Marijuana Party it is!

Oh yeah, do they ever. Separatists, black-power protest veterans, former leaders... :)
