On Entertaining...

Apparently I'm bored. I ought to be unpacking. :)

That's why you're not supposed to get Internet access until at least a week after moving...to allow time to unpack without the additional distraction. =)

It's true! I have been very productive at pestering the phone company though. :)

Well given the track record of phone companies, we all have to become good at pestering or they would never get anything done!

Cam doesn't need additional distraction; he's got me.

Very true. :-P

Will that be written into your wedding vows somehow?

[identity profile] c9.livejournal.com 2004-05-03 01:14 pm (UTC)(link)
"Do you, Cameron, take Vincent to be your lawfully wedded husband, in sickness and in health, even when he's distracting you?"

"I do!"

Actually, Vin just yelled from the new kitchen, "will you hit on him for me?" So I'm considering some new vows. :-)

They could be a work in progress up until the very last minute.

Isn't it great when a couple can share absolutely everything? =)

must behave...i must behave when it's not my own journal.

[identity profile] scott8424.livejournal.com 2004-05-03 01:34 pm (UTC)(link)
Hmmm. I haven't heard of that rule before...

[identity profile] leapfish.livejournal.com 2004-05-03 01:47 pm (UTC)(link)
More of a guideline, a mere suggestion. All misbehaviour set to continue in 3 ... 2 ... 1 ...

[identity profile] scott8424.livejournal.com 2004-05-03 01:52 pm (UTC)(link)
Definitely not a bad guideline. But this way Cam can feel free to jump in at any point. I'm just sayin...

[identity profile] c9.livejournal.com 2004-05-03 02:09 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, I'll jump, don't worry.

(I was just opening wedding gifts early. Bad, bad!)

Speaking of misbehaviour, what's the story with the tenants who previously occupied your apartment?

[identity profile] c9.livejournal.com 2004-05-03 02:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh my god, crazy. Hookers or pornographers, we don't actually know, but they were a) suspicious and b) evicted and c) still haven't disconnected their phone line, so there's something weird going on there.

Our second apartment in Halifax was a former escort agency ("fact" provided by upstairs neighbour), and also former home of pimpesque cab driver in town. 2+2=?

Makes me want to buy a house. Except then it'll be the house where a famous murder happened or something.

Or it was operated as a brothel or something. But hey, the stories you can tell while drinking with friends...

[identity profile] c9.livejournal.com 2004-05-03 05:47 pm (UTC)(link)
Good point. I need better drinking stories anyway. :)
