There's a three-minute span of my life I'll never get back.
I was surfing the Halifax TV listings a few moments ago, and discovered that "Playing It Straight" was on Fox. So I scurried upstairs to check it out. What a waste of time. Not even good enough to wait through the first set of commercials. I was under no illusion that it would be good, mind you. But it wasn't even bad-funny, just bad-sad.

They populated the show with lots of slightly femme guys, and the whole plot is "is the behaviour we just saw stereotypical?" During the three minutes I watched, she suggested that she didn't like the gay guys (even not knowing who they were) because she was "in it for love," and by definition they must not be.
I still can't believe there are people who think that their life's problems can be solved, or their life's love can be found, on television. C'est incroyable.
