Still, it's horrifying and sick to me. The whole vision was one where technology removes any necessity for us to interact with other people or get our hands dirty doing... anything. And it absolutely failed to consider the side effect of sprawl, massive energy expenditure (radiant heat on the highway??) or even the horror of giant land-eating, road-spitting machines paving the nation...
Ah, this is sitting on one of those Disney DVD tins I bought a while ago. There's another one about how Epcot Center will be a WORLD OF THE FUTURE! that always makes me nauseous.
I love how despite not having to walk everywhere all of the people remain thin. Oh how the future used to be!
