Good Question

This month's Wayves Magazine has a good "You tell us" survey question:

When will people in the GLBT community stop having to "come out"? Will that phrase ever disappear?

Not until sexuality is a moot point for everyone, is my guess. This obsession with having to define one's sexuality will hopefully someday pass. :D

I don't think it ever will. It will always be something different about a person, overtly visible or not - and it is frequently not something one can assume about another person.

I mean, it may become as innocuous socially as blood type, but it will always be something that needs to communicated to be known for sure.
