Weather Update

Everything in Halifax appears to be closed or snowed-in or without power. Fun!

From the radio:
- Park Lane Mall - "Closed"
- Scotia Square Mall - "Closed"
- Halifax Shopping Centre - "Closed"
- The Bay - "Closed"
- Provincial offices - "Closed"
- Provincial customer service centres - "Closed"
- Federal offices - "Closed"
- Municipal offices - "Closed"
- Schools - "Closed"
- Highways - "Closed"
- Ferries - "Closed"
- Bridges - "Closed"
- Casino - "Please call your shift manager to confirm your shift."

Fucking casino never closes. I would like them better if they had a rollercoaster.

Provincial government just declared a state of emergency. And there was much rejoicing.

I want my lucky bear to break dance on my posted messages, maybe he could do a spin and then grab his crotch while making a high pitched sound...*ahem*...maybe not...

hELLO???? Was everyone swallowed up by the storm? Remember if you run out of food start by eating the ass cheeks of your roomate. That's what they do in the movies...

If we don't go to London, we are SOOOO going to a rollercoaster park. Or better yet, let's find one in the UK.

Agreed! I'm such a rollercoaster virgin, I've only been on boring ones. Actually, I'm not a rollercoaster virgin, I'm a rollercoaster CHICKEN. I'll probably only go on boring ones my entire life. :)

Hmmm someone must send this snow storm here. I wish if it could cancel all the things I have to do during the next 10 days.

Okay, due to my chilean perspective I do think snow storms are fun. You can play with snow!!! and make snowmen!!!

I normally love snowstorms, the only problem is when they're so bad that you can't see and the city shuts down... we can't even order a pizza!

But you can have a romantic evening with your bf, having a hot chocolate and watching the snowflakes fall. Here in winter, you could have the same romantic evening, maybe with the same hot chocolated but watching a polluted sky :(

Well.. dude.. it is Canada, its cold up there... I mean arent you bascially in 28 hours of cold darkness for the winter??? You mean things acutally open??? Dont you live in a warm cave???

Cave? Cave?! Dude, you're so not on-stereotype. Canada has no caves, we have igloos!

:-) Definitely.

A friend of mine was once very sick, and drinking a fruit punch juice box to try to settle her stomach. It didn't work, and now we regularly mock her / remember the situation by saying "...oog... don't eat... the pink... snow..."
