Time to catch up!

So it's been over a year since we last had new Battlestar Galactica. If you care about that sort of thing, there may be some catch-up required.

Three seasons in eight minutes (if you're truly serious, check out the inaccuracies in the eight minutes here)
Starbuck: "Don't freak out on me."

Narrator: "He freaks out."

Razor (available as a torrent if you look) looks at some of the BSG past to get you back in the mood without repeating episodes.

Battlestar Wiki will tell you everything you've ever wanted or not wanted to know too.

If you want a little more detail, or just want to read, there's also Salon's 5-page series cliff notes: http://www.salon.com/ent/tv/feature/2008/04/02/bsg_explainer/

(therein there's also a link to a similar article for Mulholland Drive... which is awesome!)

Thanks! I haven't been able to watch season three. I have Razor but haven't watched it yet and I don't want to start the new season clueless.

You *must* watch season 3 first. There are too many significant plot points which you need to understand the final season.

S3 episodes are all downloadable if you're into that sort of thing. I strongly recommend not watching any part of season 4 without watching season 3.

Well then, it looks like I'll be downloading season 4 as well, which is just fine since I found that watching them on broadcast TV means commercial interruption which breaks up my attention and makes it easy to find other things to do.

Looking forward to Friday at 10.

It's also nice that the Space Channel in Canada has gotten its act together and now airs the thing at the same time as in the States, rather than waiting 6 months.

I'm all ready. The PVR auto-recorded the last two episodes of last season on Sunday so we are ready to go for Friday as well.
