Going Carbon-Neutral

I'm flying to Charlottetown for work in January. I just learned that I can cancel out the carbon emissions of my flights for about $4.22 CDN.

I wonder if I could expense that.

That's a great website! With all the flying I do, I am going to be checking that site a lot.

I don't know if you can expense it, but you can probably take it as a tax deduction if it adds up enough.

I don't think there's anything under Canadian tax law for carbon neutralization. I would be *shocked* if there was.

Right now it's like buying a hybrid: the right thing to do, even though it costs more.

I was thinking of it more as a charitable donation to an environmental cause. :-)
