Sixteen students. That's as full as the room gets. Sixteen grownups is a lot of people to control, let me tell you. My friends who are teachers talk about 30-student+ classes, and I just shiver. Though kids might be easier because you have some actual power over them. These adults, they're nasty!

Children are only easy to control when they believe that their instructor is superior. Thirty-two impudent little shits = my English class. You've got it good, believe it or not.

Some days. I agree that your class is likely not fun. I tend to compare my classes with rooms full of eght-year-olds -- they haven't discovered their freedom yet. Teenagers are in this middle zone where they have all the energy and desire and rebelliousness, but their only outlet tends to be mouthing off in school. Some grow up and improve, some simply grow older. :)

We get a lot of students from the Canadian Forces, who are being sent against their will / interest, so they cause trouble sometimes. Not physical trouble of course, but surfing porn and not caring sends out unmistakeable vibes.

My class is actually very fun due to the aforementioned little shits. Little-shittery is most amusing for those not afflicted with it.

I don't think I could ever surf porn in class.
