I, for one, welcome our new giant monocled peanut overlords.

The last three images were all taken within a 10 minute span, and the first was taken about 48 hours prior...

Wow, dramatic lighting change and everything.

How did you get the first one? Did you know they were setting it up?

[identity profile] c9.livejournal.com 2006-10-10 01:04 pm (UTC)(link)
OK, OK, I lied. The first one was on a different day. It's only now that I remembered that, because it was taken at the right *time* of day. Oops!

I was taking shots of the moon as the Belt of Venus faded, and then a day or two later the Peanut showed up around the same time.

I was wondering where the moon went, and where the dramatic sky colour change came from.

Yeah, I was trying to figure out the time span when I made the original (now-edited) post. I knew my landmarks were correct: after shower, before work, didn't feed cats yet, etc. :)

Haha, i saw the balloons too, and was amused by the peanut one.

Nice sun dogs this morning, too!

Mr Peanut's been terrorizing our neighbourhood for the past four days. I'm going to call the authorities.

The peanut authorities.

Is there something going on with hot air balloons these days. Last week, I must have seen 4 or 5 over Edmonton. I thought maybe it was the air force on it's way to Afghanistan.

That building had a peanut!!1!!

Ahem. Maybe Mr. Peanut has finally been liberated from the snowy frozen wastes of Canada and is on his way back home to Suffolk?

I dunno, he's been hanging around here for days now. Seems confused.

Did you know in advance that was going to happen? That's just too funny... LOL!

Well, we knew what was happening as soon as we saw the top hat.
