Tomorrow when I get to work I shall check and see whether I'm in danger of catching on fire.

Update: Nope, my battery is not part of this recall. Phew! I use that battery regularly.

Oh yeah, I don't like having laptops on my actual lap, especially the newer ones. They get way too hot. Usually I find a table or pillow or something for it, or balance it kind of on my knees.

Yes, the number 5100 is different than 500 and 510, so you're safe.

No need to worry, Benjamin. The 5100, although similiar to 510m (510o), isn't the same computer. It's easy to understand that you may have thought that the 5100 (510O) was in the same family. They're not. Have a great day, and thank you for being such a well spoken and excellent young man.
