Colour me distressed! I have discovered that Subway's new "Atkins-friendly" wraps contain the same amount of fat as a regular six-inch sub bun. Just the wrap, I mean. I was under the impression that, being tiny and thin, it would have less fat, but I was mistaken. *sigh*

Less calories though, so I suppose that's OK.

Unfortunately, regular bread doesn't have fat in it either, and neither do vegetables, so using the same amount of meat and mayo and cheese really doesn't lower the fat content. sigh.

Yeah - that seems to be the point of Atkins. You can eat all of the fat you want as long as you skimp on the carbs. I tried the South Beach diet - which holds a similar tenent - a few months ago, but came down with the flu 36 hours after and decided that my body needed all of the carbs I could give it to fight back.
