Great Customer Service

Don't follow that second link at work if you work somewhere that worries about your web surfing.
"You cannot remove the tag yourself. You would seriously damage the product. You will need to send us back the item. We will apply a credit-note to your Priape account that covers all your return fees. We will add to this amount $10 for the troubles. As soon as we receive the package back, we will send the item by priority mail. Of course you will not have to pay these shipping fees."
Awesome response. Now I just have to find time to get to Canada Post today. Since I'm leaving for the airport at 6, this could be tricky.

Nice... but I'm curious. If they have a way to remove the tag, how can it be that there is no way for you to do it?

I actually called and asked what my options were, and they said "you could find a really strong magnet..."

Ah, one of those. Just take it to your local grocery store and ask them to run it over their security demagnitizer.

On second thought, maybe not your *local* grocery store. :)

I'm at work and can't look at the link, but um... it's too bad there isnt' a local Organic grocer... I'm sure they wouldn't be very offended (being granola and all)

As long as they're not vegan.

[identity profile] canuckboy.livejournal.com 2006-07-25 05:09 pm (UTC)(link)
True... those vegans might steal it for their own use.

[identity profile] simplisticton.livejournal.com 2006-07-25 05:11 pm (UTC)(link)
Well... I thought they might object slightly to its construction material, too :)

I'm not sure what it is ... yet... I trust the NSFW label to indicate it's NSFW ;)

I thought it was something long and cylindrical. I'm guessing I was a bit off!

[identity profile] c9.livejournal.com 2006-07-25 05:14 pm (UTC)(link)
No no, just leather. And really only marginally NSFW. It's not a dirty picture, but on that website you're only one click away from serious office consequences. :)

[identity profile] canuckboy.livejournal.com 2006-07-25 05:16 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, leather isn't nearly as interesting as long, cylindrical items made from silicone.

[identity profile] c9.livejournal.com 2006-07-25 05:19 pm (UTC)(link)
That is often true.

Priape is cool like that - I've bought a number of their leather things and enjoyed all of them.!
