Le pant, le gasp...

Swimming. Something I love. Something I used to do all the time (a million years ago). Now, something that leaves me tired. Also sad, since I'm alone in the hotel and swimming alone is boring and somewhat saddening. [livejournal.com profile] leapfish doesn't swim (much), so I need to plan a swimming party for everyone who enjoys chlorinated water. What's not to enjoy?

The Citadel Hotel has a decent pool actually, though the hot tub was too cool, the sauna too cool, and there were no pretty boys to ogle at all! I intend to fill out an unprecedented second comment card on this topic.

My eyes are burning a bit. Fun!

When have I ever swam, to your knowledge? I'll admit that I did almost swim in a lake once in junior high, but I'm still not sure if what I was doing actually qualified as "swimming".

I have done a couple of swimmers though.

Hmmm, I suppose you're right. You have been in the ocean with me, but your feet were only off the seafloor without your permission.

i'm the worst swimmer ever. i used to take lessons, and if i would have kept up with it, i would have been okay, but then i hit puberty and turned gay and felt fat so i didn't want to go swimming (without a shirt, you know...)

i know, stupid, huh?

swimmers paradise

We'll have to be swimming partners. My spouse is also not a fan of the water, especially the chlorinated variety. In the summer it's awful, I get this almost instinct like call of the water and he won't go with me. On really nice days I have been known to take the afternoon off work to go swimming.

Someone's got to stay on (sensible, unable to drown you) dry land with the boy while you're frolicking in the sea. And besides, I went to the beach not once but twice with you last summer.

I got the best v'day gift from my hubby last night..........a full hour and a half swim at the Wave pool for all of us!!

He........not so keen on it all.

Me, and consequently all kids.............SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO deliriously happy!!!!!!!!!!

I could have stayed there for hours. *sigh*

Someone's gotta love the water. ;o)
