Wonderful Music

I'm sitting here, listening to the soundtrack for Brokeback Mountain.

I unchecked all the iTunes boxes next to the country songs, so iTunes only plays the instrumentals for me. So nice.

I love it when a song can bring me right back into a movie. I could spend a day listening to just this same twelve minutes and fifty seconds.

Movie scores really do it for me. I own the score to Forrest Gump, and it's fantastic. Plus there's a single instrumental on the soundtrack of L.A. Confidential, only 94 seconds long or so, and just one note in the middle always makes my heart skip a beat. I don't even know why.

don't discount the vocal tracks. i don't like country music (or at least I didn't think I did...) and i really like all the songs on the soundtrack.

Oh, I enjoyed them too. I was just in the mood for the instrumentals, that's all.
