The Great HDTV Debate

When it comes to HDTV, there are three major schools of thought: 720p, 1080i, and IDGAF*. For those who aren't sure which of the first two camps they're going to vote for on January 23rd, your questions are finally answered.

Note: it's not technical, and it's funny. Don't be scared.

* I don't give a fuck.

we had to go to great lengths researching all of this before we bought ours.

it supports many formats, including the two you mention, and we settled for 720p for HD viewing, and regular expanded 480p for basic digital television.

fun! :-)

Actually I prefer 1080p which somes TVs are now supporting. ;-)

Always go with IDGAF. The problem is that no matter what you choose, there will always be a nagging voice in the back of your head questioning your decision. Kill this voice with beer.
