What a day.

6:30 - wake up, see barely any snow, clear sky
8:30 - drive out of parking garage, snow is falling in complete snowballs, visibility 100m
9:45 - drop off leapfish at Hamilton airport, start to drive away
9:46 - leapfish sees his flight is cancelled, has to watch me drive away because I have no cell phone

11:25 - walk into office, buy a muffin and chocolate milk
11:26 - find out an instructor commuting from 110km away never showed up, and our customer service representative is "teaching", and that now I'm taking over the class of boisterous RIM employees
11:27 - muffin and milk go in the fridge, breakfast happens at the same time as lunch instead

12:05 - find out leapfish's predicament, above

15:30 - find out another instructor has emergency surgery Monday, meaning I may be teaching in Toronto instead of picking up leapfish at the airport

17:30 - find out rehearsal is cancelled due to Stage Manager's repeatedly stated belief that cast members dying is a bad thing.

Good things 1, Bad things 3. I'm tired. I'm also going to go buy a cell phone.

Virgin Mobile Prepaid, just like the better half. Makes the most sense, in the "very little commitment" category. Chapters had a much prettier one, but for $30 more I decided that it was still a small box with all my friends' voices inside, so whatever.

So did V. go? I was messaging back and forth with him in his journal today, but it sounded like he was still going.

Oh yeah, it was go or spend the night in Hamilton. That's a bad thing. Last I spoke to him he was in Montreal, awaiting his (delayed) flight from there to Saint John. He may get to bed by Friday at dawn, but there are no guarantees.
