Tried Skype. So far, it sucks. I'm sure it's just a bad connection this one time, but still. Major echo, and because of the echo I could hear huge lag times. I have nothing but appearances, but gtalk seems to work so much better. *shrug*
Does mean you finally have a mic? ;-) I haven't tried skype yet but I have tried Google Talk (remember the one way talk with you?) and Gizmo Project (http://www.gizmoproject.com/) which uses the same codec as Skype and it sounded quite good so you might have been having net problems.
