The Amazing Election/Race

The Amazing RaceCanadian Federal Election
Starts off with many teams, and some of them are just nuts......like the Marxist-Leninists or Natural Law.
Teams face challenges of strength......like campaigning from coast to coast in one day, and remembering what city they're in.
Teams face challenges of intelligence......like using small enough words for the GlobalTV anchor to understand.
Good teams get hit by bad luck......like having to rewrite the platform to respond to a message change.
Teams also get hit by the stupid bug......like every third time Jack Layton says something.
Eventually you've got three parties in the running, with only two having a chance in hell...
...and at the end of the race you don't care who wins as long as it's not Rob and Amber.

If it's anything like The Amazing Race, Rob and Amber will drop out after getting their Hummer crushed in an elephant stampede... in Nunavut.

Except that Rob and Amber have had almost nonstop good luck, and have been in the top three almost every single leg of the race, and seem destined to win. Despite being pricks and having already won a different "reality" show.
