Help!

Help! My husband decided to remove his cast after only three weeks, and I can't convince him to get it put back on! Any suggestions?

The other problem is that the cast is in tiny pieces, in the garbage. I doubt I can distract him in the hospital waiting area. :)

While he is younger than we are, he is also *ahem* a big boy. He may learn that the consequences of his actions are not so desirable.

If that sort of logic doesn't work, empty three capsules of Benadryl into a dry martini, stir well and *BAM* he'll fall fast asleep and you can handcuff him to something sturdy.

1) Failing to allow the bone to set and heal properly can result in a weaker limb, and if it breaks again in a different place, they may have to re-break it to straighten it all out.

2) Threaten him. If he doesn't change his mind, tell him will you not DuJohn, or Do Vincent.

I believe the term we like to use when one pressures someone into doing something they don't want to do is twist their arm. You might try that. :-P

Make him wrap it in Duct tape.. He'll feel butch that way.
