Hooray for Bugs!

I was scheduled to teach FrontPage 2000 Advanced today, to two students. Turns out they took the course already on March 9th, and nobody can figure out why they're booked for today too. Hooray! This means I can do fun stuff* all day long!

* Note for the new around here: "fun stuff" today means making floppy disk images, repairing them, then turning them back into network boot images for RIS. Seriously, I'm having fun. Why are you looking at me like that?

do you know how much i wish i could help you in that? I honestly find work the most "fun" when waiting for images to copy and talking to cool people. haha :)

Haha! I love it. Now i'm all done that, so it's time for something more serious. Not sure what yet.

*smile* -- it didn't last very long. Now i have to come up with something new, and likely more serious.

I understand completely. I get a bizarre, unnatural thrill when running installation and upgrade tests.

I had a great deal of enthusiasm yesterday for coding a routine that would compare two LDIFs and generate ldapmodify commands to make one look like the other. That enthusiasm has since been replaced with annoyance. See my last two blog postings.

PS: does anyone else think it's funny that LiveJournal's spell checker doesn't recognize the word "blog"? Or the word "LiveJournal"?
