Argh!

What kind of a useless city doesn't have a 24-hour-a-day ironing-supply store?!?

every city. I know. but I need an iron, dammit.

I cannot speak for Canada, really... but some of the larger supermarkets in the U.S. have irons in the cleaning supplies aisle, and many are open 24 hours in some regions.

Is that a possibility?

Yeah, the only 24-hour ones in our area are traditional grocery stores, without the extra fooforah. We went hunting. Oh well.

Wait... I have one. You can borrow mine!

Did you find one yet?

Not yet. But it will be much easier today, compared to yesterday.

True enough. I guess there isn't much open there at like 10pm on a Sunday, huh?

Considering your first thought wasn't that you would have a 24-hour iron store if Wal-Mart hadn't come into town and run all the other businesses away, I guess you haven't got a Wal-Mart...

Personally, I prefer Target, which sold off Marshall Field's and is now trying to buy the Bay. I expect they'll dump the Bay and keep Zeller's.

Grrrr. Target needs to leave the oldest company in the world™ alone. There are Walmarts, but they're in the burbs and not open late on a Sunday (Ontario has all sorts of laws around the hours a retailer may keep).
