You know those moments that turn from funny to shitty in seconds? I just caught one before it turned shitty! (for nihilicious: literally!)

I removed the clumped litter from the litterbox, and went to drop the garbage bag down the garbage chute. This only takes 10 seconds, so I left the cover off the litterbox. When I returned to the laundry room, Action Cat had taken up residence in the litterbox lid. He hadn't done anything yet, so I was able to remove the lid from his head, and place it on the box, which he then climbed into. Another few seconds though, and that would have been trouble.

Cats are stubborn creatures... they do so like their routines. Zoe routinely tries to use the box *while* I'm cleaning it. This, as you can appreciate, is really annoying. To both of us.

I don't know if Action Cat would've actually used the litterbox lid. There's no litter. Cats seem reluctant to go where they can't hide it. Thankfully!

When I'm scoopin', my cats routinly fight over who gets to sit under the lid while I clean. For some reason they love it under there.
